Flip Class: 5 GREAT SCIENTISTS

Throughout my middle school years, my teachers made us conduct flip classes. Essentially, a flip class is one where the student researches and acquires knowledge and passes it on to their teacher. I always found this concept fascinating and frankly, it was a lot of fun to have the roles reversed. It not only allowed me to step into the shoes of my teachers and understand them better but it allowed me to learn independently.

While conducting classes with my regular batch, I thought they would do a wonderful job with a flip class. And they did!

I'm attaching a video of Vedanti telling us about 5 of her favourite scientists using a PPT she made herself.

She made this video after we spoke about Marie Curie as part of our Women's History Month initiative.

This was a great way for her to branch out, research and teach her peers. I am definitely looking forward to doing another flip class very soon!
